The passion for student travel for Kim Burger, CSTP, a Travel Consultant with Educational Tours, Inc., was first formed as a high school band member and lead her to earn an associate’s degree in Travel. She has visited many of the top student destinations throughout the U.S., which developed her expertise on the ins and outs of each destination. Kim takes pride in being able to thoughtfully counsel her clients throughout the trip planning process. Take a moment to get to know Kim!
What is your favorite part about your job?
“Being able to send kids somewhere they may never have the chance to go to.”
What’s your most treasured travel memory, or the best thing you’ve learned while traveling?
“Seeing Disney through the eyes of my kids when they were little.”
If you were stranded in an airport, what three things would you want with you?
“A good book, a phone charger and a pillow!”
What’s one thing you would recommend every student group do while traveling?
“Take a minute a take a look at the sites you’re seeing. Put the phone down (except to take pictures)!”
What destination on your bucket list do you most want to visit?
“The Greek Isles have always been my first choice, as I loved mythology in high school.”
What’s your favorite activity while traveling, or something you’ve always wanted to try?
“I love to find waterfalls, and I just love the water.”
